Another great way to add moisture to your eyes? Try increasing your omega-3 fatty acid intake. During the winter, the cold, dry temperatures can cause eye inflammation which blocks off your tear ducts and dries out your eyes. However, omega-3 fatty acids are clinically proven to reduce inflammation which in turn relieves your eyes.
Consider placing warm compresses over your eyes before bed. Simply take a clean washcloth and dampen it with hot water. The heat and moisture combined will increase your eye’s natural production of tears. Plus, warm compresses are a great way to get relaxed before you go to bed.
