Focusing on eye care through overall healthophthalmologist west springfield | Eye and Lasik Center

“Ophthalmology was present in my parents’ household in Poland through my mother’s work in the field. In college, I had the opportunity to experience it for myself working as a technician at a busy vitreo-retinal surgery practice in South Texas. It was during this time where I saw the magnitude of suffering engendered in patients as a result of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and a variety of other diseases of this delicate and complex organ in our body. Over the subsequent years, through my medical education, this vision of becoming a vitreo-retinal surgeon to change patients’ lives crystallized, coming to fruition with completion of my fellowship.”
