Cataract and Multifocal Lens Options.

We can diagnose cataracts and make treatment recommendations, which may involve surgery. Cataract surgery is a delicate but safe outpatient procedure that replaces a clouded lens with a clear intraocular lens implant. Most patients who have had the no-shot, no-stitch, no-patch cataract surgery can resume normal activities almost immediately. Frequently the need for glasses is decreased or even eliminated.

Glaucoma management.

Sometimes, fluid buildup in the eye may cause excess eye pressure, or glaucoma. We can help with state-of-the-art diagnostics, such as OCT nerve fiber analysis, and treatment options ranging from eyedrops to advanced, in-office SLT laser procedures.

Eye Center Optical for all your glasses and contact lenses.

For your convenience, we offer two convenient locations for your optical needs.  Our Greenfield and Athol offices have in-house optical dispensaries where our opticians can help you fill your prescription or choose a new pair of frames without having to make a second stop.   

Eye health is essential. That doesn't mean it has to be beyond your reach. We firmly believe you should never have to go without the care you need because of financial concerns. That's why we accept and file most insurance plans and make affordable payment options available. We also welcome Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. Convenient early morning appointments allow visits before work. When you have an emergency, we'll do anything we can to see you that day. And we will never rush your care.
